About me
Gabriel Nunes has been tattooing since 2014, when he started his apprenticeship in his home town of Curitiba in the south of Brazil. After completing his training he worked in a busy walk in shop in the city centre, gaining experience with a wide range of projects and clients. In 2017 he moved to Bristol, where he has worked in both private studios and busy street shops.
From the beginning of his journey Gabriel was drawn to traditional tattoos and the strong visual impact of large traditional Japanese body suits. Today his work is mainly focused on traditional tattooing, influenced by Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America. His attention to detail, respect for the history of tattooing and passion for the craft can be seen in every piece he creates and in his hand painted flash sheets.
